Wickham Skydivers is a little oasis amongst the hills
behind Wickham. We have a bunkhouse, where all jumpers are welcome to
stay for free. Also free, you can camp on the lawn or plug in your
caravan to our power supply. We of course have showers and toilets for
your use. We also have a pool, air conditioned and carpeted packing area, kitchen,
bar, shaded creeper area, and lawn to land on. We also have a video
editing suite available to all, plus a training room, comfy training
table and training harnesses. We also sell and hire equipment.
There is a range of merchandise available, including t-shirts, stubby
coolers and hats. If you would like to order merchandise, please
email
us here.

What's all this Pete's
Parachuting stuff?
Wickham Skydivers is a
club made up of sport skydivers - the 'fun jumpers' who have completed
their training. They come out every weekend, usually stay overnight on
Saturday, have a few beers, do some jumps and relax. Pete's Parachuting
is the business which will take you for a
tandem skydive, or take you through your
Accelerated Freefall Course, so that you can be a 'fun jumper' too.
Who's Pete?
Pete Lonnon is the Chief
Instructor of Wickham Skydivers. He's been skydiving for 22 years,
(since he was a young tacker). He has more than 7000 jumps, and spent
seven years running Pete's Parachuting in Darwin where he took you
tandem skydiving onto Mindle Beach. He's been teaching people to skydive
for fifteen years, and together with his partner, Chrissy (also an
instructor) spent seven months in 2002 travelling to other dropzones
around the world to check out the world's best training practices.
That's one of the reasons why our training is the best you will get in
Australia.
